The high lighted area is road that the fiber optic is confirmed ran. The area marked with a 3 North Butler elementary also has fiber optic internet. I suppose it's possible it came through high way 79, but that area in my county is twice as remote as the highway 70 route marked with a 3 which ... I live in Harris county, west of Houston, TX and they are putting fiber in my neighborhood. I was talking to one of the guys running the fiber through the conduit and he mentioned that the copper wiring in our neighborhood was going away in 6 months. I need to know if this is true or false. I would have thought that getting fiber was optional..
